Where the money goes is simple. All our profit goes to an important array of schemes that help improve lives and the world around us. This includes Women's Aid, Plant a Tree Foundation, Action Aid and Project Mala.
As for the how, we broke away from typical business model; seeking the easiest and cheapest supplies to sell is not sustainable, nor responsible. Instead, we've dedicated ourselves to finding the best green products around the UK. We also tore from the misconception that going green meant a high mark up - leaving it available to just the few. Instead we made sure green office supplies were as accessible as possible to everyone - that meant great prices.

Virtually everything we do in our lives can have an impact on another's. At The Green Desk, and as a social enterprise, we always want it to be a good one. By sourcing from the UK, as well as educating, we can ensure nothing is made using child labour or unethical practices. This is something we're committed to bringing an end to.
We also take care of those close to us. As a social enterprise, we give priority to employing individuals who have traditionally found it difficult to find work, including long term unemployed and ex offenders. We recognise their skills and build them to provide the confidence and expertise needed to develop the life they want and deserve.
